The School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences of Stony Brook University maintains a fleet of Research Vessels/ Boats ranging from 16 to 80 ft for scientific work, surveys, educational trips and charters. They are based at the Stony Brook University campus on the north shore of Long Island and at the Stony Brook Southampton campus on the south shore of Long Island.
