SoMAS is well-equipped
with vessels to accommodate the research needs of SoMAS faculty and
regional natural resource agencies. The R/V
Seawolf is ideally suited for extended research trips, large-scale
oceanographic sampling, and trawling. The R/V
Pritchard is an effective vessel for sampling near-shore bays
and estuaries. Smaller research vessels are also available(e.g. R/V Privateer). For information
